Benjamin Knudsen of Weston was arrested on Saturday, Dec. 22 after being stopped on Hamilton Avenue in Greenwich for driving over the double yellow line and failing to stay in his lane, said Lt. Martin O'Reilly.

When officers spoke with Knudsen they could see he had bloodshot, glassy eyes and an odor of alcohol coming from his breath, police said.

Knudsen submitted to standard field sobriety tests, which he failed to perform to standard, O'Reilly said.

He was charged with driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol and failure to maintain lane and released on $100 bond. Knudsen is scheduled to appear in court on Jan. 7, 2019.
